My hair is one giant cowlick

My hair's curling up at the ends.
This happens whenever i cut my hair. First it's short, then it's messy and cool, and then it starts to flip up on the sides.
My head is shaped like a lemon! (a good and bad thing)
This cowlick torture is, however, nessessary in order to grow my hair out.
Why? Because i was looking at pictures of me with my hair long (ie about five inches) and i like it.
Long hair is comfortable for me. I'm sure for most guys, it's opposite, since their hair was short most of their life.
But as a female, i possess hair which is most comfortable long and tangly and completely disastrous-looking.
woo-hoo!
I can look like a dirty rocker. XD
For now, though, i have to sit and wait for it to grow, which will take atleast another few months, and until then my hair refuses to submit to gravity.
