Today we went and visited this place called "Garden of the Gods" which has all thse cool rock formations, and we drew them. I climbed up a small, cramped and steep hidden trail whith my 24"x36" drawing board and my art box and sat in a little cave to draw. was cool. Then our drawing teacher took us to a place called Magic Town, which is extremely terrifying and horrific and i think i'm going to have nightmares. (hee)

But the coolest part was this tourist town called Manitou (look this up too, i want to live here!!) which was filled with cool shops and this huge outdoor (covered) arcade, with like every arcade game ever!
Games I played:
DDR: It was the first thing I saw and I immediately gasped and then clapped my mouth shut, because i was unsure if i should unveil my mad DDR skillz in front of everyone, wondered if they could handle it. Anyway, i eventually got on and I started playing and a few people watched, and it was really funny because they were all like "didn't imagine you were the DDR type". And I was like hazaah. I played it again right before we left and half our group (and Jimmy) was watching, and I did good on a hard song and everyone cheered.
Derby: You know the game at the fair where you sit in a shooting gallery like, and try to shoot a target and then when you hit it your piece moves along on a track above you, and you race eachother? they had that, and it was like you played skeeball, and the higher your score the farther your "horse" moved, and so Jimmy had us all play together over and over.
Motercycle: Morgan decided this was the coolest game, you steer a motercycle on a track for 25 cents. i got a high score.
Police Trainer: shooting game with different minigames that here like police training games. morgan and I played 50 cents worth of this game
Samurai Showdown: I totally schooled Andrew in this game! I was like "yea, Samurai showdown!" and he was like "you're going down" and I was like "I'm a soul caliber master" and he was like "i could kick your ass at soul caliber" and then I poned him. Twice. It was sweet.
Skeeball: we played this quick right before we got on the bus, and between me and Morgan we got enough tickets for a little blue plastic airplane.

so today was decidedly good. pistachio ice cream made me think of miko, and my gator hat made me think of my family and i miss everyone! And my letter came today with the article on our movie in it! I am so filled with joy.
