digitalrukiright now a bear is watching me and kaylin over our shoudlers. he has a 'witty' shiort on.
this weekend we went to BACA, which is this Colorado College retreat in the valley between two mountain ranges, in the middle of a giant prairie. We went to a junkyard that had lots of cars and horse shit (jimmy says it's "Pooptown") and a freaking long hiking trail (5 miles, apparently) and to an alien watchtower and then to a completely pointless giant sand dune.
the lodge itself, in which we stayed, had a commons room with lots of cool records and books. I stayed there instead of drawing, gah. and i watched the sunrise at 5:30 in the am, was very hardcore.
so, while scaling the gigantic mountain, i came upon a bear cub. He was all alone, walking on his hind legs along the trail, slowly, picking flowers. I snuck up behind him and walking just behind him for a very long time, until he suddenly turned around and yelled "SHIT! Rebecca!" and suddenly it was Andrew, not a bear cub. heh, but he sure looked like one, toddling along in the mountains. Andrew got dehydrated and was delirious for most of the hike, i was quite amusing.
btw audrey kawasaki kicks ass--look her up. she does these beautiful oil paintings, caylin loves her and i do too. i like tsuyoshi (was it?). she has an lj with her most recent stuff. <3<3<3
